Octave 3.6.3 on Windows 8

Hi all

Has any of you installed the latest version of Octave on Windows 8?

It just won't work 100% here. I get no promopt, it crashes after every error and there is communication with GNUplot.

Does cygwin work on Windows 8? Octave & X-windows comes with Cygwin.
