[Ying-Foon Chow]

I'd like to try running Octave 2.1.73 in Windows XP, and would greatly
appreciate if someone can tell me if I should download and install
"octave-2.1.73-0-inst.exe" or "octave-2.1.73-1-inst.exe" from the GNU
Octave Repository.

Just download from:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=2888

and install. Worked for me.
