Line break in Octave
(too old to reply)

Good day,

I'm translating a OCTAVE code into MATHLAB.
As I'm a newbie I'm not too familiar with the
OCTAVE code. I suspect that a line break is
indicated by

\

(a backslash).

Is my guess correct? So I have to replace it
by

...

or just delete is, right?

Thanks a lot,
Tim

Mmmh. It would be better if you did the other way around :)

Yes, if it is at the end of the line.

Yes.

You can delete it in certain circumstances. Changing it to ... is safer
(and works in Octave, too).
