Thanks to whomever suggested SciTE (the Scintilla Text Editor)
for generating/editing Octave files on Windows XP. (Sorry, I
didn't save the post and can't remember your name.)

Very nice. They also have a version for Linux (we use Octave
at work with Linux), but I haven't tried it.
