Using inputParser in octave3.6.1

Hi,

I found that input Parser has been implemented in the octave general
package 1.3.1 which works with octave 3.4.3. When I try to install the
general package in octave 3.6.1, it throws an error "mkoctfile" is
missing. I also found that this error can be rectified by installing
"octave-headers". The latest available version that I could find in
internet is octave-headers 3.2.3 which doesn't work with octave 3.6.1.

Any suggestions on how can I make it work?

Thanks
Shyam
